Josh is a normal adolescent living in an industrial suburb, close to the high school, mine and skate park. One morning, he finds his friend Thomas dead. It quickly becomes obvious that three other boys have done the same thing, eliminating him from the pact. As the survivor, Josh isolates himself. Only Mia, the ex-girlfriend of one of the boys who committed suicide, and Thomas’s father are able to reach him. Some questions are answered, some not. Josh’s story is not a moral tale, nor is it a desperate social critique; rather, it is the story of a survivor.
